Job Summary: We are seeking a CAPSIL Business Analyst with over 5 years of experience to join our team. This individual will be responsible for driving business analysis and delivering innovative solutions for the life insurance domain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide impactful solutions for CAPSIL applications, supporting business requirements, and ensuring that enhancements and production support activities align with operational goals. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale modernization projects aimed at transforming the way we work and serve our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Solution Design: Analyze complex business problems and translate them into effective, actionable solutions within the CAPSIL application and life insurance space.
Application Support: Provide ongoing production support for CAPSIL applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and smooth business operations.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to define, prioritize, and implement business requirements.
Enhancement Management: Drive application enhancements, ensuring that changes align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Modernization & Migration Projects: Contribute to modernization projects, such as migration to digital platforms like Guidewire or LifeSys, ensuring seamless transitions and improvements in system performance.
Agile Practices: Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, using tools like Jira to track progress and manage tasks.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that application changes meet quality standards, using testing tools and following release management processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

CAPSIL Experience: 5+ years of experience working with CAPSIL or other life insurance applications.
Life Insurance Knowledge: Strong understanding of life insurance products, policies, and operations.
Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with business users, development teams, and other stakeholders.
Production Support: Experience in managing production support activities and ensuring business continuity.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

Modernization Projects: Exposure to migration projects to digital platforms such as Guidewire, LifeSys, or other similar platforms.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira for managing tasks, sprints, and releases.
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL, DB2, and experience with integrating applications with external systems.
Testing & Release Management: Experience with testing tools, release management processes, and supporting testing efforts for application enhancements.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
