Nesco Resource is helping a successful company secure a MECHANICAL TESTING TECHNICIAN to work in the Canton area.Summary:This position is responsible for laboratory functions. Mechanical Testing Technician completes the day to day laboratory duties accurately and in a timely mannerRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:* Processes samples on lab equipment and completes all documentation required accurately and on time* Completes lab tests, documents accurately and completed on time. (Injection Molding, Tensile Properties, Impact Properties, DSC, Moisture, Pellet Count, Melt Index, Density, Ash testing,* Assures the lab areas is clean and organized* Assures the lab area equipment is operated in a safe manor.* Assists Quality Manager in IATF initiatives* Maintains safe work area in the lab.* Other duties as assigned by managementJOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:* Knowledge of polymer, plastic materials,plastic extrusionpreferred* At least one yearof experience as an injection molding operator isrequired.
