Job Description:

Job Summary: -This position requires daily programming in many facets of component manufacturing using today's most advanced CMM, Vision, Surface Finish, and Contour measurement equipment. Prospective candidates will be screened for Print Reading and GD&T Interpretation in addition to programming aptitude. -Duties/Responsibilities: -

• Creating and running programs on complex part applications using Cameo, PCDMIS, Polyworks, and CMM Manager softwares from 3D solid-models and 2D drawings -
• Assist with quoting and managing contract jobs -
• Supporting internal calibration and applications engineering departments -Required Skills/Abilities: -
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a CMM Programmer using Cameo, PCDMIS, Polyworks, and CMM Manager softwares -
  • Strong mathematical skills -
    • Strong knowledge of the following areas -
      • GD&T
      • 3D CAD -
      • MSA/GR&R -
      • SPC -
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel -
      • Effective communication skills, and the ability to work with others in a team environment -
      • Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to learn -
      • Must have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn independently to find solutions to potential customer problems -
      • Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to create concise technical reports -
      • Ability to reason and negotiate complex problems with customers -Preferred Skill/Abilities: -
        • Familiarity with Optical/Vision/Multi-sensor systems is a plus -Education and Experience: -
          • High school diploma or equivalent -
          • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics or equivalent combination of education and work experience -
          • At least two years related experience required -
          • Strong knowledge in the following areas
            • GD&T -
            • 3D CAD
            • MSA/GR&R -
            • SPC -
