Job Description A local company with a facility in the Canton, MI area is currently seeking several Mechanical Assemblers workers for Long-term opportunities with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for those looking for a company that offers competitive rates and opportunities for career growth. Mechanical Assembler/Fabricator rates are anticipated to be $20 - $25/hr. With OT paid at 1.5 after 40 hours, based on each candidate's experience and education. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of the pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including great medical and dental. Qualified Assemblers will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience: 2 years of recent/relevant experience with assembling pre-assembled sections 2 years of recent/ relevant experience cutting metal and working with saws and able to read a tape measure. Must be Highly Mechanically Inclined, able to use hand tools, drills, cut off saws, hammers and Nail guns These positions average over 50-60 hours a week. Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered) Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
