the Mixroom Operator is responsible for retrieving, weighing, and mixing chemical ingredients, monitoring equipment during the chemical process, recording information about the equipment and compounds.2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am$18.00/hrRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:--- Storing, retrieving, mixing, and monitoring chemicals used in the production process.--- Recording information, such as ingredients, weights, and temperature, and inputting into database.--- Troubleshooting issues with production equipment and processes.--- Observing all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality regulations.--- Reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.--- Assisting in planning and improving processes and product quality.--- Working with other team members to complete the production process.--- Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.--- 3 years experience with extrusion process--- 3 years related experience, preferably within the plastics or automotive industry--- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.--- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
