The Senior Financial Analyst of Financial Forecasting/Reporting will be responsible for supporting the development of the company's financial reports as well as improving and streamlining the process. This includes but is not limited to both short and mid-term forecasts, company outlook, monthly results, and other investment activities of the company and its affiliated companies. Senior financial analyst is required to have a good understanding of accounting in order to prepare and analyze income statements, balance sheets and cash flow outlook, as well as the deep understanding of our business. Good communication skill to all levels of associates, leadership, accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, self-directed, and excellent detail-oriented capability are required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and consolidation of Budget, STF (Short Term Forecast) and MTP (Mid-Term Plan) as well, coordination, preparation of assumptions and target established by Executive Committee as, province variance analysis
  • Improve the financial forecasting process and establish strong controls for the YNCA group
  • Subject matter expert for BI and Integrated Planning (IP) tools
  • Support and lend leadership to the entire forecasting process to meet requirements from management
  • Work with business units, functional groups, and affiliates to guide them in the forecasting process
  • Review the forecast provided by each group (Business units, functional groups, and affiliates)
  • Review the overall forecast including all formats and reports driven from the forecast to ensure the integrity of data
  • Develop the consolidated financial forecast for YNCA group in a timely manner
  • Analyze the consolidated financial forecast and present the various analysis to YNCA management and parent companies
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and focus on continuous improvements
  • Responsible for supporting the process that builds monthly reporting packages issued to the parent companies using Hyperion data
  • Responsible for the preparation of various quarter and annual reporting packages required by the parent companies
  • Analyzes variances to prior periods on the income statement and balance sheet on a quarterly basis
  • Coordinate accrual reviews with business units and Yazaki affiliates
  • Assist with the regional consolidation and preparation of monthly SBR reports
  • Identify and drive process improvements/waste elimination/Lean, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, automate tools, and dashboards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP, IP a plus
  • Strong quantitative financial skills
