We are a consultative and collaborative sales and service organization.Our focus is on first understanding the deeper needs of our customers, then ensuring our products and solutions fit these needs.In addition to offering a vast range of metrology products, we provide ISO 17025 accredited calibration, dimensional inspection, and repair services.Plus, we can deliver custom engineered solutions leveraging advanced automation and control systems, machine vision, and robotic technologies.Job Summary:Metrology Technician will calibrate and repair electronic test instruments in accordance with A2LA/ISO17025 standards.Duties/Responsibilities:Ensure Technicians complete required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of electronic and mechanical M&TEReview and approve Technician's expensesReview and approve Technician's timeTechnical support for CMM programs (CMM Manager, Polyworks, PC-DMIS), NetSuite, walking through troubleshootingWork with Sales: Retrofit quotes, machine move quotes, new machine setupAssist with quoting and scheduling of on-site workOccasionally going into the field to assist Technicians or follow up on complaintsRequired Skills/Abilities:Decision-makingManagement of a small team Critical thinkingConflict managementEducation and Experience:3-5 years of electronic (electrical or mechanical) Metrology experience requiredFormal training in Metrology, previous Precision Measurement Equipment Course (PMEL) preferredBasic computer skills; Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and data entryHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent certification Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 70 poundsBending, kneeling, standing, grasping objects requiredBenefits include but are not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, PTOPowered by JazzHRPI200459147
