registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide expert nursing care
in a dynamic Stepdown unit environment where patient needs vary and
critical thinking is essential. This contract position offers the
opportunity to apply comprehensive nursing skills to assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate care for diverse patients. Your role as an
RN includes leadership responsibilities and collaboration with
healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities: Conduct thorough and ongoing patient assessments,
delivering skilled nursing care following physician-approved plans
and evidence-based practices (40%) Administer medications, perform
treatments, educate patients, respond promptly to call lights and
alarms, assist with transfers, and fulfill other direct care duties
as required (30%) Evaluate and contribute to the development or
modification of individualized treatment plans in partnership with
the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care quality (20%)
Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and
institutional policies to maintain a safe, effective clinical
environment (10%) Qualifications/Desired Experience: Valid and
active Registered Nurse (RN) license Experience working in a
Stepdown or progressive care nursing setting preferred Strong
clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to
function as a team leader and collaborate effectively with
multidisciplinary teams Knowledgeable about relevant healthcare
