supportive services in-house.Position Highlights: - Flexible
scheduling options: - Traditional: 4 clinic days 1 admin day
(remote) - Alternative options available (3x12s, week on/off, etc.)
- Call: 1:4 inpatient call rotation (hospitalist service admits) -
Patient Mix: 50% hematology / 50% oncology - Most common cases:
breast, lung, colon, prostate - Average 1,200 new patients per year
- Supported by 2 NPs, 1 RN and 1 MA per physician - Chemo-certified
RNs for inpatient chemotherapy administrationOnsite
Multidisciplinary Services: - Infusion therapy, radiation oncology,
and onsite lab & pharmacy - Genetic counseling, nutrition, and
social work - Financial navigation and clinical trials access -
Tumor board, registry, and eConsult access via Mayo Clinic Care
Network - GYN-Oncology, general surgery, and subspecialty
collaboration (ENT, Urology, Pulmonology, GI) What Makes This Role
