Job Description:
Rad Tech ? State License requirement: State License Is Not
Required for Rad Tech in Michigan ? National Certification
Requirement: ARRT ? Required for Submittal? Yes ? Education/Degree:
Associate degree in radiology as this is the bare minimum to work
here. ? Minimum Years Experience: 1 ? Duration: 13 weeks ? Start
Date: 7/28 ? Shift: 230-11pm shift ? Expected Hours per week: 40
Hours per week ? Weekend/Holiday Requirement: every third weekend,
the weekend would be a day shift. ? Float Requirement: Yes, the
shift varies in location. Main campus and ER are primary duties
with some backup relief to Harrison campus ? On-Call requirement?
NO ? Will the clinician potentially float between outpatient and
inpatient settings? Yes ? Daily Job Responsibilities:
Inpatient/Outpatient x-rays along with ER and possible OR settings,
2nd shift is occasional for OR use but does need an extra hand from
time-time. ? Types of cases/procedures: Trauma, Ports, Inpatient
and outpatient settings. Ports could be along multiple campus?s. ?
Patient Case Load / Number of Procedures: Guessing 20-40 as half
the shift is dedicated to ER coverage. ? Specific required
experience (hospital, procedures, equipment, patient population,
etc.): ? Plusses for an ideal candidate: Committed, hard-working,
punctual, easily able to adjust. ? EMR/EHR System: Epic and PACS ?
Specific EMR/EHR system exp required? No, but helps. ? What
equipment brands are used (ex: Imaging Machines)? Carestream ?
Scrub color: Navy Blue or Olive green
