Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel - Shifts: 3 x 12s - Timing: nights - Type of Facility: Short Term acute Care Hospital - Location: 16001 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI - 48075 - Length: The initial duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of an extension based on facility needs and performance. - Schedule: To be decided by manager or supervisor once you hit the floor. Can try to request blocked schedule. Job Description: 1. Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. 2. Quickly assessing patient needs. 3. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. 4. Performing minor medical operations. 5. Cleaning wounds. 6. Drawing blood. 7. Maintaining emergency room care standards. 8. Assisting with insurance paperwork. Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
