Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-contingent Day Shift: 7am-7:30pm Unit: Skilled Nursing Center Shift Differential

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for the provision of direct care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse. Assists in the assessment and monitoring of patients' conditions and therapeutic needs. Responsible for the provision of direct care to patients to assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including elimination, nutritional needs, mobility, and emotional support. In addition, accurate completion of vital sign flow sheets, charges for supplies and other duties deemed within their scope of practice.

Education/Experience

Completion of a Nurse Aide or Patient Care Technician training program preferred.
1+ years of experience as a Nurse Aide strongly preferred.

1+ years of experience providing care in a hospital setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Current unrestricted Nurse Aide certification from the State of Michigan preferred.

Current Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers, from the American Heart Association required.
