Responsibilities/Qualifications:Kingsley, a new Senior Living Facility in Canton, MI is hiring Care Staff! Kingsley is Cantons newest senior living facility. We have created an incredible building with our seniors safety and fulfilling lifestyle in mind. We are offering assisted and memory care services to our residents. We are looking for friendly, caring individuals who will treat our residents like family! As a care staff and med tech you will be helping our residents with their daily care as well as assisting with their medication administration. At the same time, promoting their sense of independence and safety. Be on the first team as we open the doors and grow together! • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting and walking
• Passing medication is a primary repsonsibilty along with hands on care to each resident
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the environment which may include light housekeeping
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
• Administer medications and injections to residents based on medical charts
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Follow procedures regarding documenting of medications
• Utilize good judgment in providing client care and safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties
• Complete all required documents and charting
• Answer call lights and assess residents needs
• Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
