Daily Responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician: Responsible for filling prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Responsible for receiving of product, returns, identifying expired medications, stocking of inventory, inventory counts, physical inventory, and other tasks as deemed appropriate. Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling and dispensing of medications and supplies
• Arranges work activities so that the pharmaceutical needs of patients are met
• Cleans equipment, and maintains all required temperature logs as per corporate Policy and Procedures
• Checks medication and administration supply inventory for out-of-date products, removes products from inventory and works with the appropriate resource to record out-of-date products in the Expiring Medication logbook
• Assists with full inventory and cycle counts

Physical Qualification This job is on-site, not virtual and requires the applicant to be on their feet and moving throughout the day. It is a fast pace at times and applicants should be aware of the physical aspect Requirements for this position:
  • COVID vaccine required
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
  • 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy filling prescription medication
  • Computer proficient (MUST be proficient with Excel, Word and internet)
  • Ability to work flexible hours (MUST be able to work the shift) Hours or shift of a Pharmacy Technician:
    • 40 hours per week, Shift: All applicants need to be able to work a scheduled shift during our normal business hours of 7AM to 8 PM
    • They will have closing shifts (until 8 or 8:30 depending on how busy and cleaning) as well as mid-shifts Advantages of this Opportunity:
