We are looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers, home health aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide non-medical home care to our clients in the Lansing, Howell, Brighton, and Livonia areas.We welcome all experience levels.This requires a special, gifted, loving person to take on this role. We provide home care services such as companion care, meal prep, cleaning, personal care, dementia care, and more. If you're looking for hours temporarily or just to help the most vulnerable and desperate for care in our community, we can get you hired, trained and working shifts within days of your application for the position of caregiver/ home health aide. Extraordinary caregivers are the heart and soul of our company, come and join an amazing team!FirstLight Home Care is a lifeline and peace of mind not only for seniors, but for anyone over the age of 18 who needs extra assistance.Home Health Aide responsibilities include:_ Providing companionship and conversation_ Preparing and serving meals_ Help with bathing, grooming and incontinence care_ Light housekeeping and laundry_ Shopping, errands and transportation_ Other duties as assignedFor the role of personal caregiver or on-call caregiver, you must: _ Be at least 18 years old_ Be able to lift 25+ lbs_ Have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a safe vehicle_ Be willing to work one weekend shift a weekend (this can be as short as 3 hours on Saturday or Sunday) or work both days every other weekend_ Be able to take and pass a drug test and background checkPlease note, some clients can only be matched with certain genders as prescribed by legal, federally recognized identification as part of a bona fide occupational qualification.
