Job Description:


To promote and execute Tailgate Garage culture, by providing quality leadership, organization, coaching, training and supervision to achieve the highest levels of guest and team satisfaction and enjoyment. Maintain accountability for all team members working in the facility. Work alongside the General Manager as their go-to person in the store. Support the General Manager in any and all of their tasks and ensure the facility operates in all day to day functions.

Basic function:

Responsible for assisting General Manager with assigned tasks and manager on duty activities.

These activities may be scheduling, facility management, HR responsibilities, team member counseling, etc.


- Perform nightly closing duties by ensuring facility is clean and secure, and accounting for all shift transactions according to Tailgate Garage standards.

- Assume overall management responsibility during (manager on duty) shifts and in the GM's absence.

- Use management tools to achieve, manage and measure performance, including guest experience journey path and performance agreement.

- Notice opportunities and take action to facilitate social interactions with families.

- Look for moments to surprise, engage guests with enthusiasm and go above and beyond using your own authentic personality.

- Ongoing training, coaching and positive reinforcement is your priority.

- Create and perform your signature move and interact with guests on an ongoing basis.

- Respond, resolve, and follow up guest problems, injuries, and accidents through telephone contact in anefficient manner, and document results.

- Delegate and follow-up on cleaning and safety duties throughout the day and night shifts to ensure clean andsafe playing conditions.

- Handle misconduct of guests and/or team members and take appropriate action. This includes all codes of conduct and policies written in the Tailgate Garage handbook

- Responsible for party, field trip, groups, and corporation and large group bookings and information requests and follow-up.

- Monitor ongoing safety systems and programs for guests and staff while maintaining safe operating conditions of all play equipment.Safety is our number one priority all safety issues are addressed and rectified immediately.

- Perform other related managerial duties as assigned.

- Respond to request for continual development, training or support of other teammates.
