Toyoda Gosei North America (located in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Product Engineer Summer Intern . The Product Engineering Intern will assist the interior/exterior engineering team with documenting engineering changes and developing design countermeasures. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist interior/exterior engineering group with day-to-day design and development activities for current and future automotive programs • Support team in engineering data studies for warranty issues • Prototype making and lab testing of products • Assist in the creation of documentation to support request for quote (RFQ) process • Assist with making 3D changes to existing parts • Lead assigned projects Qualifications and Competencies: • Minimum of 2 years’ undergraduate studies completed • Coursework towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Aerospace Engineering • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Excellent organization and communication skills required • Highly analytical and detail-oriented • CATIA V5 design experience
